Public Hearing Notice
The City of Eatonton is currently preparing an application to the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, to receive $250,000 of Congressionally Directed Spending. The purpose of these funds will be to develop 1.6 acres of open green space in downtown Eatonton into a public gathering venue.
A public hearing will be held on this project at the Putnam County Administration Building, 117 Putnam Drive, Eatonton, GA 31024 on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.
The purpose of this hearing will be to give the citizens an opportunity to become acquainted with the project and to comment on different items such as economic and environmental impacts, service areas, alternatives to the project, or any other issues identified.
