CHIP Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program

The City of Eatonton is pre-qualifying licensed general contractors and/or lead renovation firms for the CHIP homeowner rehabilitation program. This program is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) via the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) and will be subject to all federal program requirements and the local CHIP policies and procedures statement.

Interested general contractors must submit a CHIP Contractor Application form for consideration. Application forms will be accepted on an on-going basis until completion of the program; however, only contractors that have completed the application form will receive bid packages as they become available.

A CHIP Contractor Application form can be obtained from Mr. Gary Sanders, City Administrator. Mr. Sanders can be reached by phone at 706-485-3311.

MBE/WBE and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to pre-qualify.
